Tides Marine Series One Shaft Seals have been designed to be installed on smaller yachts, work boats and ski boats. Manufactured for shaft diameters of ¾” to 1.25” / 22mm to 30mm, there are two stern tube hose attachment options depending on if the installation has hard or soft engine mounts. For installations with rigid mounts, high engine rpm and short shaft lengths the single convolution hose is recommended, which for smaller diesel engines and softer engine mounts the multi-convolute hose is required. A pressurised cooling water supply is required to lubricate the lip seal and alignment bearing in the seal head.

Manufactured for shaft diameters of 1.375” to 8” / 35mm to 200mm and suitable for a wide range of shaft speeds and ambient operating temperatures, Tides Marine SureSeal is simple to install and maintain.

All components are non-corrosive and inert to electrolysis and have no moving parts to create a ‘snag risk’ in the engine room. A pressurised cooling water supply is required to lubricate the lip seal and alignment bearing in the seal head with the benefit of being able to replace a damaged or worn out lip seal with the boat afloat using the optional Spare Seal Carrier Kit, these shaft seals are suitable for new build and retrofit applications.
